Application Process for New Technology and Rules & Policies Committee

2024 IMLS Board of Directors Terms

  • January 2024 – December 2026.
  • Each two-year term position will be decided on by the number of votes received by each candidate.
  • Three candidates for the six IMLS Board of Director seats will serve a two-year term.
  • The small association seat will serve a two-year term.
  • Thereafter, all seats will serve a two-year term.

Responsibilities

Rules & Polices Committee

  • Advocate for rules and policies that support all IMLS Members.
  • Review current and new rules and policies to make recommendations to the IMLS Board of Directors.
  • Recommend any changes to Bylaws and rules and regulations to keep the policies and rules and regulations of IMLS in conformity with the requirements of the National Association of REALTORS®.
  • Submit the Rules and Regulations to NAR as needed for their review and approval.

New Technology Committee

  • Review current software and services to make recommendations of improvement to the IMLS Board.
  • Review current and new rules and policies to make recommendations to the IMLS Board of Directors.
  • Review member feedback on existing technology.
  • Review Paragon field request/changes and make recommendations.

Attendance

  • Attend up to six (6) committee meetings per year unless otherwise determined by the committee chair.
  • Any member who fails to attend three (3) regular or special committee meetings without an acceptable excuse to the chair shall be deemed to have resigned from the committee.

Timeline Committees

  • October 3 – October 26, 2023 – Applications for open director seats accepted.
  • November 6, 2023 – IMLS Nominating Committee to appoint 2024 IMLS Board of Directors (BOD) Members.
  • November 8, 2023 – IMLS Current Board of Directors approve 2024 IMLS BOD appointed members as recommended by the IMLS Nominating Committee.
  • November 9, 2023 – Boise Regional Realtors Board of Directors approve 2024 IMLS BOD appointed members as recommended by the IMLS Board of Directors.
  • November 21, 2023 – 2024 IMLS Board of Directors announced.
